Lynchpin

Welcome to Lynchpin Consultants

My name is Tony Lynch.
I am a business orientated Project Manager working at senior project / programme level equally at home in Information Service / Technology and digital environments. I bring drive and determination to the challenges of the constantly evolving and converging media environment.
I deliver projects for companies on all programme/project aspects through using pragmatic implementation expertise
Also have extensive experience in discovery, organising workshops understanding and creating the client / user journey, SEO, organising and running workshops, drawing up the business cases and the PID, (Options, risks, cost-benefits and impacts, ROI, KPIs etc.)

Process and Change Management

On one level - controlling the creative process, delivery to always critical and tighter deadlines - has left me with an essential curiosity to define the user experience and brainstorm a creative concept whilst producing project documentation, and the ability to accept highly complex problems and turn them into deliverable projects. At a higher level I have always been in charge of examining the processes and people to deliver. I can clearly identify if a solution adds real values to a company's objectives and whether it takes them closer to their overall strategic vision.

Registered Prince2 Practitioner and certified Scrum Master

Considerable experience in managing people and large complex projects as well as organisational skills honed at board level

Management specialist, Strategic and Tactical planner.

Ability to communicate my ideas to the board, peers, suppliers and team members equally effectively

This experience and skill has been successfully applied to Pure IT projects (migration, desktop, apps) as well as business driven transition programmes (BBC Outside Broadcast).

I have also become involved in IS training. This has arisen out of people recognising my years of experience coupled with my willingness and passion to share this experience and knowledge. I have organised and delivered courses for the IPA (see archives) as well as in-house training sessions on the basics of project management and Microsoft Office Project Server 2007
