About Lynchpin

Process and Change Management

On one level - controlling the creative process, delivery to always critical and tighter deadlines - has left me with an essential curiosity to define the user experience and brainstorm a creative concept whilst producing project documentation, and the ability to accept highly complex problems and turn them into deliverable projects. At a higher level I have always been in charge of examining the processes and people to deliver. I can clearly identify if a solution adds real values to a company's objectives and whether it takes them closer to their overall strategic vision.

I started life as a HR manager after studying for a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. I then spent the best part of career within the advertising design and Direct Marketing industry across consumer, corporate and new media. This involved installing tracking systems to facilitate decision-making and to enable projects to run to time, and to budget, whilst balancing creative and commercial elements. Throughout my career I have always combined my HR background with practical project management in the ever evolving world of media and its various models of operating: from Traffic and Production, to Creative Services through to Project Management.

I now work use my experience and skill to drive effective Change Management at programme and project level. Recent projects have been handling IT projects within publishing and post acquisition transition of BBC Outside Broadcasting into the SiS Group.

Sometimes consultancy is not enough. This is when I can apply pure project management skills, which have been strengthened by adopting the formal discipline of Prince2 Project management to change management. This has led to the successful completion of complex IT projects of £1 million pounds. I am currently involved in Programme and Project Management in a company which specialises in Change Management of Post acquisition Integration and training.

I am an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) This enables me to remain up to date on the ever evolving evolving relationships between clients and vendors.
